September 8, 1979. A sweet day! Two beautiful families joined together and something very precious and exciting was begun -- The Tim Bowden family! Thinking back over 32 years instantly brings a smile to my lips and tears of joy to my eyes. Tim, when we recently received the DVDs of 100s of photos as a birthday gift, you spent most of two days enjoying them and remembering. It's a legacy captured -- images of past generations through the present day, starting in the 1930s! Your concluding comment to me was, "It's like I'm falling in love with you all over again!" I agree completely (although certainly not yet in the 1930s:)
What an incredible man you are, Tim. You have loved me like the Lord loves His bride, all these years. I love you more deeply, and in many more ways than I thought possible when my heart was already full of happiness on that warm September day.
You've been my closest confidante, a completely trustworthy friend. You put me first in everything, without even thinking about it. You've been an incomparable role model, demonstrating the very best in relationship and stewardship for our four amazing children, and now six fabulous grandchildren. God has established in your life a legacy I am so humbled by and thankful to be in partnership with. I love you and trust you as much as it seems possible for one to love and trust another human being, and then each passing year it all grows and gets sweeter again!
