Cal Bowden

Most of my memories would be from our youths.  I remember getting guitar lessons from Tim (on his Gibson) in the living room of the house on Pennsylvania.  I remember pizza from De Marco's.  I remember dunk fests and chicken fights in the pool.

I remember hide and seek in the neighborhood on Willard that sometimes
included the grounds of Ingham Medical.

Lake Odessa and water skiing come to mind as well.  Wave crashing on one or
two skis, homemade discs and surfboards. Great times.  I also remember stories, ghost and otherwise, and late night recitations from Grandma, Aunt Marguerite and either of our dads.

The memories run together some over the years, but the fragrance they leave
is sweet.

Have a great 60th birthday and a wonderful year.
